This is not meant to be a commentary or academic thesis. I am not capable of that. Instead, it is what I have come to see and love about Luke. He was a layman and historian, not one of the disciples, or a prophet. He was a doctor who was used by God to write inspired scripture. Many think he is the only Gentile writer of the Bible.
