This volume fills a gap in current pilgrimage studies, focusing on contemporary representations of the Camino de Santiago. He has published on the literary reception of \u003ci\u003eDon Quijote\u003c\/i\u003e, early modern desire, medieval narratives of mourning, and on the connections between early modern models of readership and material culture. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eAnnie Hesp\u003c\/strong\u003e is an Instructor of Spanish in the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures at Virginia Tech, USA.
