Author Biography

Lillian Easterly-Smith is the Founder, Executive Director & Community Care Pastor of LifeCare Christian Center. Lillian's experience spans over 25 years, beginning as a volunteer for Alcoholics for Christ (AC). She served on their board of directors, led support & recovery groups, led worship, organized retreats, and taught in many workshops, seminars & classes. Along with a volunteer team, she developed the curriculum for Adult Children of Dysfunctional Families, which was adopted by AC as one of their core curriculums. Lillian is sought after as a speaker and workshop leader for caregivers, counselors and pastors. She has also been featured on radio programs. Her extensive qualifications and unique God-given gifts have equipped her to affect change in the lives of hundreds, if not thousands, of people. She has trained hundreds of volunteers over the years and helped many churches develop care ministries that offer care, support & recovery groups. Lillian resides in southeast Michigan with her husband, Mike Smith. She has an adult daughter and two beautiful grandchildren.
