Gewanda, is a graduate of Edward Waters College in Jacksonville, Florida (B.A.), Asbury Theological Seminary in Orlando, Florida (M.Div.), is pursuing a Doctor of Ministry Degree in Pastoral Counseling from United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio, and she is a minister in the United Methodist Church. She resides in Florida.
