This book presents the first systematic study of the cinematic representations of religion in the early documentary film on the Balkan Peninsula from 1896 to 1939. Author Biography

Milja Radovic is an International Scholar and Principal Investigator (FWF) at the Department of Systematic Theology and Ethics, University of Vienna. She is an active member of Interfilm and serves as a Juror at International Film Festivals including Cannes, Berlinale, Locarno and Karlovy Vary.
