Author Biography

Dortha Hise is the Chief Overwhelm Eliminator at Pretty Smart Virtual Services, where she and her team of virtual assistants rescue entrepreneurs and business owners out of overwhelm. Along her entrepreneurial journey, Dortha discovered her divine gift for supporting others who are grieving various losses, and now walks in her divinely inspired path supporting others through their various forms of grief. In 2013, she was diagnosed with a vocal disorder that prevents her from speaking much above a whisper. She is also very passionate about raising awareness for dysphonia and dystonia. Dortha holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from the Loyola University of Chicago, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. She currently lives with her husband, Jason in Folsom, California and enjoys hiking, camping, and traveling.
