Author Biography

James E. Casey, Jr., a retired minister, earned his Doctor of Theology degree in 1980 and has written for many publications since 1954. From a humble beginning on a small Kentucky farm, Jim has risen to become a national speaker for the American Bible Society. He has traveled extensively and ministered in the United States and abroad, which has provided him with many diverse life experiences. Jim has four grown children and six grand-children. His wife, Oleta, went home to be with the Lord, after 54 years of marriage, on November 14, 2011. In his latest book "The Boy From Back Creek, The Girl From 531 Pelham Street", Jim expands upon his previous two publications, "From Rags to Riches" and "The Shepherd and His Sheep", which displays his faith and love of Almighty God, country, and family.
